My Gambling Den Chemin de fer Type Casino Game
I have enjoyed countless of rounds of twenty-one. I started sneaking into the gambling halls when I was 16. I have enjoyed online 21, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short time. Given all that I have still lost a lot of bankroll at twenty-one. The gambling halls have made it almost impossible to beat the casino.
I still enjoy the game and gamble on a regular basis. Over the years I have wagered on a type of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get flush with this tactic or defeat the house, still you will have an abundance of fun. This method is built on the fact that 21 appears to be a match of runs. When you are on fire your hot, and when you’re not you are NOT!
I play basic strategy vingt-et-un. When I lose I bet the lowest amount allowed on the next hand. If I don’t win again I wager the table minimum on the next hand again etc. Once I win I take the payout paid to me and I wager the initial wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I lower the bet back down to the original sum.
I am very disciplined and never "chicken out". It gets extremely exciting at times. If you win a few hands in a row your bets go up very quickly. Before you know it you are gambling $100-200/ hand. I have had great runs a few times now. I left a $5 table at the Flamingo a number of years ago with $750 after 30 mins using this technique! And a few months ago in Vegas I left a table with $1200!
You have to understand that you can give away a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be aghast at the runs you witness betting this way. Below is a chart of what you would wager if you continue winning at a five dollar game.
Bet $5
Take 5 dollar paid to you, leave the initial five dollar bet
Bet five dollar
Leave five dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of ten dollar
Bet ten dollar
Take ten dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial 10 dollar bet
Wager ten dollar
Leave ten dollar paid to you for a total wager of 20 dollar
Wager $20
Take $20 paid-out to you, leave the first $20 wager
Bet twenty dollar
Leave $20 paid to you for a total wager of $40
Bet $40
Take forty dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial $40 bet
Wager forty dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid to you for a total bet of eighty dollar
Bet eighty dollar
Take $80 paid to you, leave the original 80 dollar wager
Wager eighty dollar
Leave $80 paid-out to you for a total bet of one hundred and sixty dollar
Bet 160 dollar
Take $160 paid to you, leave the original 1 hundred and 60 dollar wager
If you left at this instance you would be up 315 dollar !!
It’s herculean to go on a run this long, but it will happen. And when it does you can’t alter and lower your bet or the final result won’t be the same.
